Chain Bridge

Coming to the end of the Easter holidays so we had a day out together at Melrose. Took a walk up the Eildon hills in sunshine, but rather blustery at the top. We had planned to lunch in the pub but couldn't bear to go indoors while the sun was shining so grabbed some delicious bread and cheeses and had a picnic by the river. Sat near the weir and spent a while trying to decide if we could canoe it. Decided not, portage left. So will add that to our list of things to do. We've had many trips on the Tweed but not that area.
