The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

A monument to the genius of Thomas Telford, and well worth a visit.

Be warned, if taking small children, that the gaps between the railings are wide enough to allow a little one to wriggle through easily.  Doesn't bear thinking about!! 

A gust of wind had me about half way across and propelled me towards the water, a better option than going the other way over the railings.
