Today's the day ............................... to break out the bubbly

I'm a great believer in making the most of your birthday.

It's not officially until tomorrow - but when I returned this afternoon from a volunteering stint at Carnforth Station - Will had opened the bubbly.  It's been such a beautiful day here and it was just a delight to sit out in the garden in the sun and share a glass or two.  We've got a few things to celebrate actually.  Today was the first day that our house is officially on the market - and already some people have been round to view.

So - here's to a new year but also new beginnings of a new bit of life.  Exciting times ................................!
