Find of the day . . .

Birthday today so Mike took the day off and we had a grand time including a trip to the garden centre and Helgi's for lunch!  Home to plant out all the things we'd bought, then a wander along the beach at low tide followed by dancing in the evening.  I'm getting too old for all this excitement!

Very low tides at the moment so lots of interesting things being uncovered including this lid off an ashet.  I love the pattern on it, and you can clearly see where the handle was attached.  This is the biggest bit of pottery I've found so far . . .  will see if I can find out any more about it.
