A Labour of Love

I have two Robins nesting in the garden, the babies must have hatched as I'm seeing the parents constantly looking for insects and grubs.   I think they are grateful when I'm weeding the borders or turning the soil, they don't seem at all afraid, indeed they become quite bold and come down within a few feet of where I am working.   This one seemed to have found quite a large worm, I hope the baby that gets that one is grateful.
My brother and I had a very satisfying morning in the garden cutting back some overgrown shrubs and also dead wood on some fruit trees and shrubs.    We took two x one ton bags to the tip so the garden looks tidier now.
