Another food related blip

Backblip

A very relaxed day, beautiful warm weather again.  In the evening we tried a new restaurant, Verdigris, up on NE Fremont, it was very good, "grown-up food" as my husband put it.  Small and very loud it reminded us of restaurants in SF and London, afterwards I looked at the blurb on the chef and saw that he used to be at Farallon and Town Hall (both in SF) before moving to PDX, so that made sense.  Small portions of food which I like and in easy walking distance from home was a bonus.
