Mayflower

Spent the best part of the day trying to photograph the Mayflower. This ship was made by Reg who lives in one of the Almshouses of my hometown. Reg is over eighty and has made several of these scale models of various sailing ships. His attention to detail is amazing - his eyesight must be amazing as some of the work is so fine. He loves it, does it very well and I have to agree the ships are astounding.  Trying to photograph them against the dark background in natural light for him was, for me, quite tough but I am hoping he will be pleased with at least one of these.
