An Avid Lensman

Golden Girders!!

Thank you so very much for all your wonderful comments on Luke and I's attempts at recreating 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' last night.

As we looked at the response on his I-phone, we decided to nip out again at midnight to recreate another scenario.

Now, this could either be the Poseidon Adventure or any other submarine movie, I suppose. And, I guess that it was inevitable that the fisheye would find its way into use at some point, too.

You can see just how crowded the Embankment is, once again! The lighting colour changed through a pinky, then blue hue and then onto this rich warm golden tone. We waited specifically for this, not only looking rather nice, it really emphasised that gorgeous streak of blue in the 'portal'.

This time, Luke had to endure six whole seconds of keeping still! And it wasn't exactly warm, either.

So, Luke is back at work and London is glowing in the sun but we both liked this and literally, it could be Kiev, Gdansk, or literally any industrial city.  And, yet another London shot that would likely as not, NOT be on your average tourist's hot list.

Lens is Nikkor D 16mm fisheye
