Chained

I love my bike. I've had this bike for a year this month. I went to an auction where they were selling police bikes and found her. She was exactly what I wanted and I won the bidding war to ride her away for a mere £50.

She's a late 1980s Ammaco racer with a stunning wheel set that I lovingly tweaked and even gave a cruddy paint job to so she was less appealing to the many bike thrives in Cambridge.

When buying her I ended up good friends with the guy who runs the auctions - Frank the Cambridge bicycle doctor :)

I always wonder about her history and who had her before me. It felt really good to have some sunshine and get out to ride her tonight. Got in at 1am on a school night!
