The Maid on the Bench.

As it was such a wonderful day, we went for a drive up  to the   Afan Argoed  Mountain Center.  We went for a walk down one of the trails, and the sun was really warm. As you can see, this is me, sitting on one of the new benches.  that is called, stating the obvious   It is a mecca for mountain cyclists, and you have to be careful that they don't mow you down. We  walked back to the cafe, and sat on the verandah and had a snack .It was lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the  beautiful view, overlooking the valley.   We walked back to the car, and drove further up the valley and stopped at the top , which is called the Bwlch, and had an ice-cream, which J made me eat!  The view is spectacular, and overlooks Cwm Park.   We sat  for a while savouring the view, and then came back  home. It was a lovely day out.
