BikerBear's Blips

By BikerBear

Delicate Diascia

A tiny flower measuring around 0.5" x 0.8" (12mm x 20mm) - a genus of the Scrophulariaceae family - also known as Twinspur.

I have blipped one before but, since planting in the garden, the centre of the flower has changed colour and I thought it was definitely worth being seen again.

Tech Specs: Hand-held, in garden (very dull this morning) on-the-plant shot, 18-105 lens, Nikon D90, f/11, 1/4000", 105mm with +2 magnifier lens upfront, ISO 800, EV -1.0. (wet knees from kneeling on the grass!!!!)

I think it's very, very pretty and hard to imagine it is so small from this photo.

LuLu Lupin thanks everyone for their comments, stars and hearts yesterday which helped her into the spotlight!

Your time spent looking at my journal is really appreciated - again, thank you so much..
