Magnolia, Gilmore Place

I love (really love) magnolias. They don't last long, but boy are they handsome. NCT meet up today - a picnic in Bruntsfield Links. Got there early so popped into the Chocolate Tree to sample their mango ice cream, since it was warm and sunny, and beginning to a lot like summer. 7/8 of us were there and it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Took the bus there and back and felt proud to give up my pram space and leave the bus for a wheelchair user, despite the change in law meaning I didn't have to. It did mean a 20 minute wait with a (by then) rather grumpy Bug, but luckily he kept it together once we were back on the bus and all the way home.
