Earth Day

It is an Earth Day today and as usual it is celebrated by organizing a fair at Pardubice main square. The educational stands are visited by school kids who learn and compete in various contests. Among these stands there is traditionally a stand of my dear farmer and I could go shopping for veggies after a year of being delivered a surprise CSA delivery every week. I enjoy this green shopping so much. Afternoon I listened to several presentations and one of them was on indigo print about the only two Czech families who maintain this rare tradition. Julie and Bernadette might be interested. ;-)
