Less than jubilant

In response to the school's last-minute request for the kids to dress in red, white and blue, the boys were wearing what they had in jubilee colours. George's blue hoodie had been hanging on the hook so long it had an odd-looking bump sticking up on top.

Unless, of course, he'd grown a horn overnight and wasn't letting on.

When it came to looking like like a loyal subject, he was easily outdone by one of his classmates with a Union Jack painted on his face. But I don't think either of us felt that was a bad thing.
