Adjacent Beauty

Saw this from beside the A426 near Lutterworth today. A bridge remains on this disused section of the Great Central Railway. Through the gap you can see the adjacent concrete bridge of the M1 motorway. For several miles the old alignment runs immediately adjacent to the motorway, old and new, running in unison the future and the past intertwined.
