Cherry Blossom

This is my cherry blossom tree. Usually later than everyone else, although its not too bad this year. Its the reason I bought my house - silly really, but I absolutely adore the two weeks when the blossom is out - even the carpeting of petals over the lawn. I refuse to get some sort of hoover to get rid of them - why on earth would you want to do that? 

So, blue sky and cherry blossom. Not sure it gets any better. To quote AE Houseman (albeit he was talking about the white blossom, rather than the pink:
