Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

WILD GARLIC

Bear garlic, ramsom, buckram, broadleaved garlic, Allium ursinum  is so called as brown bears go crazy for the stuff.  They are an indicator of ancient woodland and a companion to bluebells.  Every year, people poison themselves by mistaking Lily of the Valley for ramsoms, but as I have never seen Lily of the Valley growing wild in woodland and the garlic smell is unmistakeable, I wonder why?

The Professor and I had a grand Date Day at Culzean in outstanding weather.  Tomorrow I see the consultant again and hope to be released from my driving ban.
