The last flush of summer....

It was a halcyon today....it's a well kept secret that the best weather in the Cape is in autumn...soft warm sunshine and still windless days. My Bougainville is giving a final flurry of blooms,not as luscious as summer but oh so welcome as the garden prepares for winter.
And I'm overwhelmed by your kind,generous comments about my mother...thank you so much. I was deeply touched and wish I could put into words how special this Blipping community is...just a band of fabulous ,generous people.
