The Workshop

As my entry for this week's Wide Angle Wednesday challenge - Interior - I present the Husband's workshop. Taken from the door. There's a bit more to the left, but we'll have to save that for another day. Certain people - you know who you are - have clamored to see this space, so it seemed the perfect opportunity to blip it.

It started life thirty-four years ago as a woodworking shop, and then morphed into a space for working on lighting fixtures. So there's a lot of woodworking equipment - table saw, drill press, planer, etc. - currently mostly serving as tables for bits and bobs of lamp repair miscellany. There is also often a Carolina Wren nesting somewhere in there, as well as mice. And maybe even the odd Wood Rat. Quite a busy place! As you can see from my thumbnail, there is a broom, but I can't imagine what it's used for. I guess sweeping the stoop out front.

Thanks to Paladian for hosting this challenge!
