Arran Sunset

Sunset over Arran from the Troon ballast bank.
I'm not a huge fan of doing long exposures - ones 30+ seconds long. All that faffing about with filters you have to remove each time you want to refocus and compose, timers, shutter releases, etc. Then there's all the waiting around whilst the shots take anything from a few minutes to tens of minutes, not knowing if it will work. We're spoiled with digital.
Anyway, huge respect to those that do it and do it well. Might become more of a fan of it with shots like this.
I've order a 6 stop filter to see if that's any better than the 10 stop. Hate the fact you can't see anything through it and have to keep removing it.
