ELSLACK MOOR

On the way to visit S this afternoon I took the scenic route past some known photo opportunities.

Three miles along the lanes the old stone and wrought iron gate was encased in scaffolding and a workman.

Another couple of miles and the lovely old barn door had a tractor and muck spreader parked in front of it.

A mile further on, the big red barn door had been creosoted a horrible brown.

So it's a washed out view from the top of the moor taken in too bright sunshine. But I could get very used to this sunshine.

A lovely, as always, couple of hours with S, who soothes my soul and makes me cry laughing. Better than medicine. Thanks S x
