Teachers

The young teachers graduated from the institute and one of them is my mother. This is the grad party for girls. The republic of Turkey invested a lot in education when it was newly founded compare to recent days. Nationalistic, idealistic new generation teachers were send to Anatolia to educate the new students. The educational language was Turkish and Kurdish and other languages were not officially recognized by the state. Still this is a issue in Turkey. Almost 40 years of guerrilla war ended but no one knows what is next. This is still unsolved problem. Kurds ask for more. The state is discreet.
