I've Got Your Back

Our Elder Dog JAZ and Tara... JAZ has always been very 'dog aggressive'. She was scary to walk on a leash and I certainly didn't dare take Her to a dog park. She was stoic but tolerant when we brought Maica home as a puppy almost four years ago, but I wouldn't call them 'close'. Now whether Her 'filters' are down because of Her advanced age (16 1/2 yrs) or She just genuinely likes Tara...it's hard to say. Tara, very gently, plays tug with JAZ, licks Her mouth and face and makes sure that she finds a spot as near to JAZ as she can manage when they are resting. JAZ, for Her part, seems to enjoy the young dog's attention and adoration.
