Furrowed fields

All day long there have been tractors, diggers and lorries coming and going and working on the field next to my meadow. Lots of heavy agricultural machinery in action. They all left in the afternoon and I went down for a look. I have never seen such giant corrugated furrows. Something's going on but I don't know what it is.
