Kaiteriteri Beach on a Beautiful Morning

Blipmate and I went looking for the elusive blue fungi has been seen before on the track between Kaiteriteri and Little Kaiteriteri beaches.

We didn't find any, but it doesn't really matter. It was a stunning day and the beach looked lovely in the fresh morning light. This is looking from the lower part of the track.

This is how I prefer it, without the summer hordes.

For those kind people enquiring - we are okay. There was a  pretty decent sized earthquake this afternoon  - 6.3 at St Arnaud - fortunately not a highly populated area. It was long and strong but left no damage here, although our local supermarket lost some stock off the shelves.
