Screened for now

On 22 May last year  I started to report on the very new flats that are being built in the centre of Tonbridge; it appears with little regard for the local architecture. See here for my first view through this gap on the high street where there is a bridge over a side bit of the Medway.  The crane is still there, you can see its base sticking up out of the blossom. The 22 May entry also has a link to an artists impression of what the flats will look like.
As of today the flats have reached their finished height and are attractively screened from the high street by blossom and leaves.  There will of course be a winter view later when I suspect the architectural contrast will be in full view.
