Out West

Today I drove to Narromine, a small town 330km west of Blackheath, near where I grew up.
By chance I noticed, some months ago, a snippet in the newspaper inviting descendants of servicemen from the area who enlisted in WW1 to be guests of the local RSL Club for Anzac Day commemorations.
My brother flew from Sydney this evening and we are looking forward to a big day tomorrow.
Have to be at the Dawn Service at 5:20am so thanks to all who responded to my blip yesterday, but rather than replying tonight I am going to try and get some sleep - that's if the group next door who are here for a wedding don't party on all night.
