The birds are still singing in the back gardens - including the one perching, as usual, on top of the telegraph pole. The pink blossoms are just appearing on the trees. But the blue sky has gone, and the hills are just visible through the cold rain that drove in the window that I opened to take this.

It's not unusual, this weather, but it comes hard after a week such as we've just enjoyed ...
