Cherry blossom

All along the river are cherry trees with pink or white blossom. I was going to wait and try to blip them in all their glory. The recent lovely warm weather has brought them on very nicely. The forecast wind and rain might give them a bit of a hammering though and it would be a shame if the blossom were whipped off before it really got going. These flowers were growing straight out of the trunk of one of the trees. I think they're pretty tough.

This hasn't been the best of weeks so I'm glad it's the weekend now. Happy weekend one and all.
