100 years

J this evening went to a service in our local Armenian church commemorating 100 years since the Armenian genocide when 1.5 million were killed. It was a very moving experience. This photo shows the moment they released balloons and a white dove into the sky. Many Armenians fled here in 1915 during the genocide.
