Joining the ANZAC Band wagon

It was with mixed feelings that I joined the small crowds to view the light and sound show projected onto our town hall.
25 April is ANZAC day, and this year we mark the centenary of those disastrous Gallipoli landings. The media seem to have been carrying wall to wall ANZAC for few weeks, and our mayor decided to get our city in on the act.
Grudgingly, I can admit that it is very good, but I am not sure that I would have embarked upon the whole thing at all.
