So many flowers to choose from

Today it seemed like a whole other level of cacti and agaves burst into bloom. This is an century agave - flower that stands about 12 feet high. The big flowering finale is the end of the plant. It takes years for it to happen - then - that's it! Pretty spectacular. I took this early in the morning - and there were birds and bees on it but those shots did not work out...
