Chasing the night light

A day of exploration. Went for a run through the Kepa Bush reserve, a nice little patch of wilderness in the middle of suburbia, but I have to say not really practical as a running route. Far too many steps, both up and down!
This evening I went out chasing the night light again, exploring the world of photographing the dark. Some cloud about and a fresh wind, making a nice streaked effect across the sky. The real fun of photographing the dark is that you never know what you are going to get. Unlike last night, at least I had a very stable platform tonight.
By the way, for those that might be interested, these are the driving wheels saved from an old dredge, the Whakarire that worked in Wellington and then Napier until taken out of service in 1974.
