100 year anniversary of the Gallipoli Landing WW1

ANZAC Day today and our school had a special commemorative assembly. We invited a neighbouring school to join our special service.

My foto shows our collection of floral wreaths beautifully made by the children of both schools and parents. The flag pole stand shows the Gallipoli rosemary flourishing. This was taken at lunchtime and some of our children are having a look.

We have a long weekend here in Australia. Anzac Day started with a dawn service at King's Park (80,000 people attending) and there was a parade in the City.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
