Bars at the window

I presume these grills are purely decorative.  They are very Catalan in style. Today I did not go walking but took our friends back to the airport.  We had a lovely final meal together last night at a local restaurant and it was sad to see them go after their all too short stay.  I was back in time for market shopping and coffee in the square.
