Growing old disgracefully

BIRD CHERRY BLUES

The beautiful racemes of the bird cherry (prunus padus) live brief but glorious lives.  The tree lives up to it's name, being a favourite feeding, hunting, hiding and spying place for most of the 27 species of birds that visit our garden.

Kept mainly indoors by feeling a wee bit wonky today, but managed some time in the garden, just sitting and looking for a change.  Time not wasted.
