Lily's off to cub camp for the first time this evening. Two nights away. A little bit nervous, but she seemed happy enough once she was on the bus.
It had been a mission to squeeze everything on the list into her rucksack, but we managed. It was kind of a rush to get to the square on time, but we made it. It was only as I was finally sat down, an hour later, outside the pub with a half guiness, that I realised, in all the excitement, we've sent her off without a jacket. Oh dear. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain.
