I went to see Mum today. I had hoped to either blip Mum or her new budgie Misty.Unfortunately Misty who had had 'the runs' since Mum got him a week ago took a turn for the worst today and died while I was there. We had spent the day finding out how we could help him, but budgies are such small creatures I don't think there is much you can do once they go past a certain point. We kept him warm and quiet but he didn't make it.
Hopefully Mum won't be put off and will get another one fairly soon, she is a very devoted budgie Mum.
