Catheter Capers

This is a stone from the near the northern end of the Lyngen Peninsula in the district of Troms in Norway's Arctic Circle. There is a lot of gneiss up there but this looks a bit too diverse as to qualify. But I liked it for its blasted, conglomerate appearance. It came back with one other stone from our adventure.


Started a page on the journey to Tromso and got involved in trying to identify places on the ground using Google Earth from photos I took from the air. It is a superb and aggravating way to waste time but strangely satisfying. Suddenly it was later than I realised.
