As said yesterday I went back to the local farm today to see the now 2day old foal. He was asleep for most of the time in the corner of the field, well protested by mom. Thankfully he raised his head for a photo.

As you can see from the daily BTCB extra photo the blue tit produced another egg during last night to make 7. I wonder when this nightly production will end? Today she has sat them longer than usual and the male has been seen bringing her food in, so things are progressing nicely.
