And he wakes to find the fire dead

For years our wee town has always had chippies  - traditional restaurants run by generations of Italians.  One of the last oldest Italian families gave up their restaurant at the end of last year:  and this month it reopened. as "Dough".

Over the last month, we have all watched and waited in anticipation for the grand opening... and they actually did it a couple of nights ago, when we weren't looking.   Himself was away up a hill last night, but we had agreed we would have one tonight on his return.

On Friday night, we heard they ran out of dough.... last night, they stopped answering the phone... and the people were waiting in the shop 50 minutes for their orders.

We phoned and placed our order, and were told 30 minutes.   When we stopped off to collect, the shop was once again filled with people waiting, - a delivery driver taking loads of orders away, and four pizza makers busying away.

Our Pizzas were Pulled Pork with Vietnamese Slaw, and Wild Mushroom and Asparagus with Truffle oil.

I think I have just tasted the best pizza I have ever had.... and I know what we'll be feeding folk at Tooli's Garden party.

Isn't it nice when something new opens up and exceeds eveyrones expectations.
