Winners!!

So my birthday weekend treat today was to spend a couple of hours at the very glamorous home of Chipstead F.C in Surrey to watch the U10 plate final between Hamsey Rangers Athletic FC - who my nephew George plays for! - and The Warren FC!! It was cold, it was grey and, thankfully, the rain had stopped by kick off time and I'm happy to report that Hamsey won an exciting game 2-1!! The boys were ecstatic at the final whistle and it has been a great achievement considering they play in an age range a year above the one they should, and they only formed as a club at the start of this season!

No pressure now on my nephew - 2nd from the right on the bottom row of the team photo  - to become a premier league footballer earning thousands of pounds a week!! ;)
