Clackmannan Tower

Taken from an oilseed rape field near Airth.
That tower dates from the 13th century and is a five storey tower house rather than a full blown castle.
Hidden behind all those yellow flowers lies the River Forth, running at the foot of the green hill below the tower.
Another bright and sunny day, mostly, but really quite cold in the wind and with some nasty showers. At least we have (so far) missed out on the "S" word!
