Poets and Other Superheroes

I went along to First Thursday this evening at Chapter Arts because Jonathan Edwards was one of the guest poets. (He won the 2014 Costa Poetry Award for his collection My Family and Other Superheroes.) It was great to hear him read some new poems he's been working on, too. 

One of my friends took part in the Open Mic that's always held after the guest poets/readers and it was a packed event with lots of people taking part in the Open Mic - some poets had even travelled across the bridge from Bristol to do so!
