Experimenting with moderation

Early Sunday evening dinner with Pierre and Sandrine and Kevin.
Four and a half hours, 2 bottles of wine. 
Had one serving of home-made pizza. 
One serving of gnocchi and Lombard chicken. 
One serving of cheese cake.

Untouched: 2 bottles of wine, 2 cans of cider, a bottle of beer, a cheese platter, half a ton of gnocchi, one chicken, a French style apple tart

I am barely eating the rest of the pistachio nuts and leftovers of parmigiano cheese, washed down with the last glass of wine. 

Is that what middle age does to you?



Where's that apple tart again? Would go down well with a glass of cider, to get an apple theme going...
