Pesto day

The last three potted Sweet Genovese Basil are flowering..

almost a little late to harvest and turn into frozen pesto cubes..

but without being able to thaw a cube or two and toss it in some
fettucini with cherry tomatoes, we shall wither and die this winter..

so I'm gathering the pine nuts, the insane amounts of fresh garlic
and the extra virgin olive oil and getting busy.
