The Perfect Storm

A was a little bit stormy in Auckland this morning, lots of rain lashing against the windows in the howling wind (first thought for today's Blip). A good time for doing a bit of office work in peace and quiet with no phone calls as it is officially a holiday today - the first "Mondayisation" of ANZAC day.
True to the forecaster's predictions things calmed down in the afternoon, and I went for a walk Tamaki Drive, hoping that the after-storm clouds might provide some interesting photos. The tide was going out...an added bonus. 
So this is perhaps a good time to try out the new Blip feature of adding more photos on the same day. Not sure how I feel about that yet, somehow the purity of just one image a day seems to be a value to hold on to? I wonder how others feel about it?
And thank you to all those who commented on my 500th - it has been  over 2 years to get there, so talking about a photo a day, my average strike rate has been less than 50% !!
