Walking with Flowers

Saying Goodbye

Dora and I are here having a little ritual to say goodbye and thanks to a wonderful Salix Tortuosa tree in our garden, which has sadly died. It has provided much pleasure and support over the years, starting as a very small tree when we first arrived in this house seventeen years ago. It has been a roosting place for the visiting birds, a scratching post for Dora and both a delight and a powerful symbol to me.
