Pincushion hakea

This gorgeous tree is in a neighbour's front garden and every year I wish I had one too (the one I tried to grow died...). It is a Hakea laurina or pincushion hakea (I think!), an Australian native. The styles are not fully unfolded on this flower; when they are all out they do look like pincushions.
