Times Square

Last day in the Big Apple.

A friend back home recommended a place called Ellen's Stardust Diner and it turned out to be amazing. The food is pretty average but the serving staff are all young hopefuls waiting for parts in Broadway musicals. For example the waitress who brought my fish and chips and beer was entertaining the diners a few minutes later with songs from Grease - she was fantastic. They also use the full restaurant for their performance, regularly standing on the tables. A lot of the current Broadway performers started at the Diner. They work really hard.
